Since the opening of Inhotim Institute, in 2005, Belo Horizonte has become a reference point for contemporary art. Celma Albuquerque Gallery gathers a considerable collection of contemporary works, calling attention from visitors from all over the world. For the gallery’s office, Gema opted for a laid-back design, with inconspicuous changes, such as discreet lighting design and irregular off-white shelves, generating a welcoming space for artists and art collectors. It’s simplicity creating sophistication.
