The central circulation core of this apartment makes the plan quite rigid, therefore the spaces didn’t have many possibilities for integration and amplitude. The client’s request was to improve the space with a contemporary, timeless and simple approach.
As a project solution, we aimed to transform the apartment as lighter as it could be, matching colors and reversing some occupation’s logic.
We assume the dining room furthest from the kitchen, to create less segmented permanent living areas – living and TV rooms become complementary. The woodwork designed by Gema has a leading role, which defines and organizes the space and harmonizing the occupation with new furniture and affective objects.
