Moving out to a new apartment symbolised a new beginning with the daughter. The requirement was to reuse the existing furniture, but this time combined with colours and contemporary references – in opposition to the white palette that prevailed on their old home.

The apartment itself already had interesting characteristics, such as a circular powder room, a step-down living room, and original solid wood flooring. The project’s task was to establish a new spatial organisation, being a new woodwork an element that structured the whole design and layout. Colors and textures were matched to existing traditional furniture, and brought a cozy, unique and familiar touch to the spaces.
